You guys are doing a really good job with the Drupal School. I just love it.
Would be cool to see some tutorials on how to organise a front page like TheOnion.com (simple version in order to get people going)...
Anyway, you are great ;)

Thanks for the quick intro to modifying the Zen theme. I'd like to see how one can style the individual tpl files that make up a drupal site. The bg and logo image change were quick and painless. How can we change the major layout of the site and then style individual sections? May I also suggest cutting up the video to shorten the time played and file size? Thanks

Good ideas. I think That's where I'll go with the themeing stuff next when I have some time. And I think I will take your suggestion and do little 5-10 minute videos for each part.
For some options till then, you might want to check out CCK with contemplate or views if you haven't already. I've found that in general, those three modules plus a little css can really open up the options for what a Drupal site can become.

Thank you very much for this insightful tutorial. I'm a programmer so I would like to see a little bit more CSS and PHPtemplate tinkering in the future. For example, how to redo the tabs, the menu style and the basic block and node CSS types to fit a specific photoshop layout. Once again, thank you very much, and keep up the good work.

I've been learning drupal from your video tutorial within this 2 days. I really appreciate your hard work, dedication and thanks a million. I just wondering if you could create a case/material and have Drupal workshop/seminar. Or sell the material in DVD.

Seems you've got quite the fan base!
I second what everyone says dude, your video casts are extremely helpful. I've come across quite a few tutorial videos that are pretty unbearable (spend too much time on unnecessary details, irritating voices etc..haha) but these are great man.
Looking forward to the next season :D

This screencast is really useful, but i have a little question, how can i do this same desing but with a fluid with? that is, a width that fits the navigator width (with page content filling, for example 90% of available width)

Your video tutorials are great!! I hope you can do more and on a more regular basis.
I followed this video and am creating a theme for a Drupal 6.1 install w/ Zen. The thing that's bugging me now is styling the fonts on the different places... I'm not very advanced in CSS, I learned what I could from styling a wordpress K2 theme, but here with Zen, I find it actually harder to locate the exact style tag using FireBug!! If you can do a video, showing how you locate and change the style on all the fonts, that would be great!
Great job!! Please keep it up!!!

Great Tutorial!
I would be so lost without your tutorials, and I also learned how to work with FireBug to boot. Great job and keep up the good work!

Ha, looks like I need to do a new version of this screencast as well. The Zen theme has changed quite a bit and is actually really easy to modify now. That'll be next on the hitlist :)
